Unique opportunity for an experienced and professional Functions Manager with exceptional knowledge of American culinary offerings and produce. The U.S. Pavilion will deliver a program of events that will attract an array of VIP guests from across the globe. As such, the Functions Manager will require the skills and knowledge to deliver bespoke world-class events professionally, discreetly and with modern flair.

The Functions Manager role is a hands-on position and the successful candidate will be required to lead a dedicated front of house team with exemplary hospitality skills in planning and service.

The position oversees the operations of the entire front of house team, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and according to budget. This role requires a balance of high-level planning and direction. The candidate should be an expert multi-tasker, have a strong written and verbal communication skills, and a great problem-solver.

Familiarity with VIP dining environments in the Middle East will be advantageous, as will a sharp eye for details, experience working collaboratively with kitchen teams and successfully managing rosters and inventories.
