USA Pavilion Theme Statement
At Expo 2020 Dubai, the United States of America celebrates “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of the Future.” This powerful theme reflects America’s commitment to promoting prosperity, opportunity, and innovation globally and domestically.
As Americans, we defend freedom, promote diplomacy, and celebrate ingenuity. We advance American interests and uphold our universal values – freedom, prosperity, peace, dignity – that we share with the world as we realize the promise of our collective future. Our exhibits, events, and programs showcase the United States as a strong and trusted partner for peace, progress, and security throughout Expo 2020 Dubai.
The United States is committed to the success of the first World’s Fair ever to be held in the Middle East, under the theme, “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future.” We work together with international partners to ensure the enduring success of Expo 2020.

USA Pavilion Guest Experience
The USA Pavilion showcases American ideals, enterprise, and innovation. Located in the Al Forsan (North Park) zone, the USA Pavilion is perfectly located to discover all the wonders of Expo 2020 Dubai.
Moving Walkway: Mobility in Action
Guests are taken on a journey through the first four major exhibits via a moving walkway that meanders through the Pavilion. This high-capacity transportation system provides a unique experience that is inclusive for all ages and abilities.
Exhibit 1: Foundations of Freedom
The sun rises on the Statue of Liberty in this immersive media show featuring a physical recreation of Lady Liberty’s iconic torch. Guests discover America’s storied past, present, and future, and how freedom has formed the basis for opportunity and innovation.
Exhibit 2: American Innovation
The lightbulb, the phone, the internet – all of these great inventions were created in the United States of America. In this exhibit explore the historical achievements of some of America’s most iconic innovators, including artifacts from Alexander Graham Bell and Steve Jobs.
Exhibit 3: The Innovation Generation
The United States is an incubator of innovations, where countless companies think differently and propel us toward change. This exhibit recognizes the global impact of the American companies that seek to broaden their outreach to communities in need across the world.
Exhibit 4: The Sky Is No Longer the Limit
In this eight-minute immersive media show, guests explore the future of America’s technological advances in the current century and beyond. This experience touches on the biggest and boldest of ideas the United States has to offer and presents the cutting edge of what’s possible, from the democratization of space to quantum computing, sustainable energy, and more.
Exhibit 5: America the Beautiful
From the sunny beaches of Dry Tortugas to the cascading cliffs of Yosemite, explore the natural wonders of one of America’s most precious assets: its National Parks.
Exhibit 6: Explore the USA
Come face to face with the people, organizations, and technological devices that make the United States “the Land of Opportunity.” This exhibit hosts representatives from a variety of American organizations, in addition to a genuine meteorite, the Mars Opportunity Rover, and even a piece of the Moon.
Exhibit 7&8: Liftoff!
Every evening, the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket “blasts off” in a heart-pounding, 60-second night-time spectacular. Projection mapping transforms the rocket into a large canvas, as the story of the United States’ history of space travel comes to life in a blaze of glory. This show plays on the hour, every night.
Dine beneath the stars, just below the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. Experience American food and culture in the USA Pavilion’s Rocket Garden, featuring live entertainment throughout the day.
