U.S. Department of State

The U.S. Department of State is responsible for U.S. participation in international exhibitions, such as Expo 2020 Dubai. The Department’s Expo Unit in the Office of the Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs in Washington, D.C., manages U.S. engagement with the Bureau of International Expositions (BIE), organizes U.S. participation at overseas Expos (also known as World’s Fairs), and mobilizes international support for U.S. candidacies to host Expos.

The U.S. Consulate General Dubai’s Expo Unit is a temporary office created to support U.S. participation in Expo 2020 Dubai.

Thinkwell Group

Thinkwell Group, based in Los Angeles, is an award-winning global design and production agency that creates customized, content-driven experiences in the physical world.

They have been contracted by the Department of State to design and install all USA Pavilion exhibits that will tell the Pavilion’s story of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of the Future.

TVG

TVG is a subsidiary of Thinkwell and is a specialist in Expo operations and retail. They will manage the coordination of staff, Distinguished Guests/Business Program, food & beverage, gift store, and supply chain.

TVG will also deliver the U.S. National Day and provide media and communications and outreach programs working collaboratively with the Pavilion’s stakeholders, partners, and sponsors.

Global Ties U.S.

Global Ties U.S. designed and implemented a grassroots recruitment campaign, tapping 25 of our Community-Based Members in 21 states to help identify Youth Ambassadors and Cultural Performers in their communities. The campaign was further amplified through extensive, targeted social media advertising and direct outreach to influential organizations and individuals.
