The USA Pavilion will celebrate National Day at Expo 2020 Dubai on Sunday, March 6, 2022.
The USA Pavilion’s celebration will showcase our theme, “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of the Future,” at the Celebration of America Festival throughout the day, a family-friendly event to entertain and inspire visitors of all ages. Events include:
Festival events take place at Al Forsan Park including the Arkansas Circus, the University of Minnesota Marching Band, replicas of famous American monuments, and a ‘Hollywood’ backdrop wall for selfies. Free American flags and themed sweets will be available while supplies last.
USA National Day Parade through Expo grounds, starting on Ghaf Avenue and ending at the USA Pavilion with a performance by the University of Minnesota Marching Band.
The USA Pavilion will temporarily close at 1 PM to accommodate private events in the evening.
USA National Day official ceremony in Al Wasl Dome featuring official address by U.S. Head of Delegation followed by cultural performances by New York-based singer-songwriter Maya Azucena, known for her uplifting soul music, and The University of Minnesota Marching Band, known for crowd-pleasing American big-band hits.
USA National Day Concert featuring vocal trio from Alaska, Pipeline Vocal Project, on the Jubilee Stage.
USA National Day Concert featuring New York-based singer-songwriter Maya Azucena bringing a fusion of indie-pop and classic soul music on the Jubilee Stage.
Celebrate America National Day Film in IMAX imagery displayed within the world's largest 360-degree screen at Al Wasl Dome.
The USA Pavilion celebrates “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of the Future” through an immersive experience of the American people, ideas, and contributions that have changed and improved lives around the world. Since opening on October 1, 2021, the Pavilion has welcomed over 1,000,000 visitors and hosted over 50 performances, discussions, and events. We look forward to continuing to showcase American culture, values, and technology to a global audience in Dubai and millions more through the virtual tour on our website.
