Queena Bergen – “Who Am I?”

February marks a month-long celebration of Black Americans’ contributions throughout U.S. history. Over the years, other countries have started to observe Black History Month and recognize the contributions of individuals from the African diaspora. The United States has a long history of advancing democratic principles worldwide. These principles also align with fundamental American values, such as freedom of speech and freedom of expression. We are honored that poet and storyteller Queena Bergen shared her piece, “Who Am I?” to mark Black History Month.
